Rubbish soil will always give you a rubbish lawn, no matter how good the turf itself might be. We level everything carefully and create gentle slopes leading away from your house so water doesn’t sit in puddles.
Just before the turf goes down, the surface gets a final rake over and a light firming, solid enough that you can walk across without leaving footprints, but not packed down too tight.
